Are teachers told when one of their student self-harms?

-My school counselor and parents know about my self-harming, and I'm wondering, do school counselors tell the students teachers?Absolutely!!! If it is a disorder or mental problem teachers NEED to know. They are to keep it confidential, but it is important for me to know about you in order to best serve you as an educator.
