Can professor see where and when students log and use their blackboard account?

-I just wanted to know, because my professor posted on the blackboard announcement that he can see where and when we log into our blackboard account; therefore we shouldn't cheat. But i just wanted to know. A curious thing.



So basically two questions:

1) Can professors see when we log onto our blackboard account?

2) Can professors see where we are when we use the blackboard account?She can see when, but most of us don't have time to mess with that.



She can not see where you are.



She should understand that Blackboard assignments are often collaborative efforts, she can't do anything about that, and she should modify her grading methods accordingly, instead of relying on unfounded fear methods. Just my opinion.
