-I have to do Triple Science for my GCSEs next year. I'm really interested in Time Travel, the future of Evolution and stuff like that. Do they teach that, and how much?
Thank you.It isn't in the syllabus but if you have a really bright class and can afford to take some time to explore these topics your teacher might let you. Ignore the oafs who say that you can't study time travel because it isn't possible. We only know it is impossible now because theoretical scientists studied it. In a thousand years children might laugh at us for not having figured out how to do it.
Study your triple science and you can use that knowledge to explore further, then explore some more and never stop asking questions. We are only advanced as we are because scientists and other thinkers pushed the boundaries and explored when others laughed at them. Look up Copernicus, Newton and Hawking. All three pushed the boundaries of knowledge.No. Stick to science fiction, because that is all these are.
Time travel is impossible, and always will be. Science it is not.
Evolution will be what it will be. It is not predictable, and never will be. The future is unknowable.
If you aren't interested enough in real science, and prefer fantasy, then you are going to be severely disappointed.
I don't know where you've heard that but it doesn't consist of anything like that, sorry! Have a look on the exam boards website but I studied triple science and we didn't do anything like that.
Time travel is not Science. Neither are such speculative disciplines as the 'future' of evolution, though the nature of evolution will be covered.
No. Evolution will be in Biology, but it will be about the past, not the future.
They don't teach about time travel because it would break the rules of physics.
