In the United States is the Quadratic formula taught in elementary school?

-Here in Ontario, Canada, it is taught in the tenth grade during high school.As a maths practitioner I authenticate that quadratic equation can not be taught in elementary school.
Most kids here the US learn in freshman year.
I live in New England and we learned it in 7th, so middle school
I teach it to my seventh graders. typically in my state, it is eighth grade.
