Teacher seems to enjoy humiliating me, what to do?

-My art teacher obviously does not like me. I know I'm not always perfectly behaved, but there are people in my class who are a lot worse. Today I had a pair of glasses made out plastic Lego stuff, and I was holding it near my face. She didn't like it, so she stared at me and I put it away, then she said, "what's in here?" (while pointing to her head) and I said "a brain", and she kinda gave me a bit of a dirty look until I blurted out "a little brain." she was satisfied then, and simply told me to use my brain next time. The little brain thing came from a few weeks ago when she thought my work was too big, and admittedly it was, but she decided to say, "there's a little thing in there called a brain (pointing to head) I said little!" she said it in a very sarcastic voice as if she was talking to a baby. I wouldn't have minded if she had just told me my work was too big, instead of my brain too small. She does all this in front of the whole class, but when I see her away from class she's nice to me. Why is she acting like this, and what can I do? I know I'm not dumb, but it just upsets me when she says those kind of things.Just try as hard as you can. Don't mind what the teacher thinks. When I had art class the teacher humiliated me nonstop in front of the whole class. He also degraded me in other ways. But thats when I realised that art isn't for everyone so I droped the course. Everyone has a brain but they just dont know how to use it.Give her an apple with a worm in it

It's just life, dont give a **** and just go with it.
Just deal with it. It's July now, shouldn't you be out of school?

I know that it is easier said than done, but, with something like this, it is better that you move on. All you do is give those people satisfaction when you don't. You may be a late Bloomer but those are the rarest and most beautiful and often the wisest. They take time to learn thoroughly and eventually get faster. That is exactly how I was. I am a graduate from college now with honors and my math teacher in high school called me a retard LOL! There was a certain concept that I just couldn't understand and I felt like I kept asking the same question just at different steps of the problem, but instead of explaining the whole problem to me he would give me 1 word answers. Finally he called me a retard. I have to be honest, I wanted to cry so bad and to think I tried to defend him against another student (you can see the story in previous question).



I kept my cool and kindly left the room, before I left I looked at him straight in the eyes and said, "you know you really hurt me just now and what you said to me was completely uncalled for. I will be in the library if you need me." I repositioned my backpack and left quietly. I told my librarian what happened, little did I know, she was a retired math teacher and helped my with the work. She may have had a talk with him because he was more than nice to me when I returned the next day. I did not slander him to the librarian I just told the truth and asked if I could stay in the library for the remainder of the day. (Last period class).



I took the high road and was the bigger person than the teacher and you know something, he looked up to me! It was a simple sentence. "You really hurt me and what you said to me was uncalled for." Now, if he got satisfaction from that instead of a wake up call, then he is no better than the worst most stupidest student in the school. He would be no better than a child with a temper. I wasn't going to stoop down to that level. Do you know that he actually asked to sign my yearbook at the end of the year. He said, "Though my year was very difficult, you were a spot of light in my class and very proud of you. I wish you all the best of luck in your future classes."



My message to you is to keep your head up and all you can do is learn from what happened back there. It didn't kill you, so you must be stronger in some way. :)
