Are the following important things for public schools to teach?

-1. relations between different languages (like Spanish/Portuguese, Swedish/Norwegian, Hebrew/Arabic)



2. relations between related nations (like US/Canada, US/UK, US/Australia, UK/Australia, UK/Canada, US/Israel, France/Mali)



3. relations between similar US states (Pennsylvania/New Jersey/New York/Maryland/Delaware/Virginia Texas/California, etc.)



4. types of businesses (chain, franchise, federation, grocery store, department store, variety store)



5. history of technology (as part of either social studies or science classes)o



6. basic American history (some kids never know who the Indians were or that America was settled by Europeans until the kids reach 5th grade)



7. capitalization/common nouns/proper nounsThey should teach 3, 6 & 7. 4 & 5might be covered in high school, but 1 &2 are college material if done at any depth.
