What does Harvard look for in students who apply? Help appreciated from teachers as well!!?

-What should one do in order to get accepted?

I am a freshman, but I am interested in Harvard, and I am willing to do whatever I can to get accepted into such a prestigious school...PLEASE HELP!!!Everyone applying to Harvard has the highest grades in the hardest classes and very high test scores, and Harvard took about 6% of applicants last year. They turned down thousands of 4.0 students and valedictorians and the smartest students in some countries. You need all that and a lot more to have a shot at getting in. And you also need a good reason to go there, which most people don't have. What will Harvard do for you (besides bragging rights) not other school could do?
