Why is it that employers think online education is not as good as in class?

-I am a college student and I do better in online courses than in class. First semester I had a 2.77 for a GPA and they were all inclass A in professionalism , B in sanitation, B intro to foods, and C in purchasing . the next semester i took all online courses and had a 4.0. I had an A in French and an A in history. I am a Political Science major. Next semester I am taking Japanese, Mandarin and Arabic and I am expecting A's in those as well.

I am also taking an online TEFL course from Ical. I currently tutor English to non english speaking students. I do notice that the TEFL course seemed to improve my ability.Employers are interested in "soft skills" as well as in academics. They want employees who attend regularly, are punctual, complete assigned tasks, work well with other people, and obey the rules. Not all of these skills can be learned online.

Also, higher level thinking skills are taught in classes. People learn such skills better through discussion.

Also, I think online classes are often easier than classroom classes. Perhaps that is why you did better in those than in the regular classes.Online colleges are mostly for-profit institutions... There's stories all over the Washington Post and NY Times that discredit those types of schools... I would stop putting money into that and bite the bullet and go to a real school... With online courses the misconception is that you have access to all of your notes and books, and that's not fair compared to someone who had to take a test in front of a professor with no notes...
Well I took CELTA which had to be in person. I think for teaching, actual teaching experience is important compared to just reading things online. But I agree, overall I learn better on my own, it's just that people learn differently. However some jobs require socializing abilities as well, and those have to be learned in person.
name the best university - now name the best online university.

online classes is relatively new - certainly in my lifetime. it takes a while for something to make a name for itself.
You can cheat on online classes.
Because it's not.
