Difference in Quality of education?

-My father told me to study college in America, I'm from Asia and I already have 1 year experience in college here.

In curiousness, I want to know the quality of education in America?

What do you guys think?Your best bet is to research institutions individually based on your area of study. Some schools that are well known might not have the best Engineering department, for example, while they do have a great humanities reputation, etc.
